Where are you Based?
I live in Stockton On Tees, a town in the Northeast of England, right between Middlesbrough & Darlington, Newcastle & York.
Are you limited to weddings in the Northeast, Teesside area?
Stockton On Tees is a great location, making the northeast really easy to get around. Teesside, Middlesbrough, Stockton, Darlington, York, Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham, Whitby among other local towns are all within a short drive.
However, I am in no way limited to these areas. I have always worked nation wide and will always enjoy traveling around our wonderful country.
Having previously lived in London, Southampton and on the Isle of Wight, I still frequently travel down there to photograph weddings. I am more than happy to travel anywhere, UK or abroad.
Addition fees may have to be added to supplement my travel and accommodation.
How long have you been photographing weddings?
I've always had a camera by my side for as long as I can remember, but in my early 20's I made the decision that I wanted to be a photographer. In 2006 I set up as a freelance photographer and honed my skills.
By 2008, aged 26 I was heading out on my very first assignment as a professional, solo wedding photographer. I loved every second of it and haven't looked back since.
Do you take formal family photographs?
I do as a standard because that’s what people tell me they want but you certainly do not have to have them if you’d rather not.
Do I get a copy of my wedding photographs included?
I always include a full resolution digital copy of your photographs with every wedding. You'll be presented with a beautiful wooden USB memory stick personalised to you, fully loaded with approximately 600 full resolution images for you to enjoy & keep forever.
Are the images I receive as part of my wedding coverage protected by printing copy right?
I class the wedding photographs given to you as yours and wouldn’t dream of telling you what you can and can’t do with them.
The fee I charge upfront includes a full resolution digital copy of your wedding photographs, ready to be printed. You do-not have to pay any extra for them at a later date.
Can I see my wedding photographs online?
Every photographic session from The Story House, wedding photography or otherwise, includes the option for a free online viewing galley.
Your gallery can be protected with a password of your choice, simply share your password with anyone you'd like to have access to your gallery.
Slide shows can be played from within the gallery.
Can I buy prints directly from you?
Yes. Each customer gallery has a direct link to a Professional Photography Print Lab and has a simple and easy to use print ordering menu.
Only the best quality materials and inks are used to insure a high quality and long lasting product. Whilst at the same time, I do every thing I can to keep my prices as low as possible.
Prints can be delivered straight from your gallery to your home as quickly as next day.
There are multiple payment methods available for your convenience including PayPal.
Will I get stung with pricy after sales of print products?
Within the photography industry, a common business model is to offer low price fees upfront and to make money by selling you the photographs individually or grouped together after the session has finished, often at an inflated price. This is not how I do things.
Every one of my photographic sessions, whether it's wedding photography, portraiture photography or commercial photography include the final images.I do also offer a prints service directly from this website but I am committed to keeping my costs as low as possible.
If I like your work but can’t afford your price, is there anything I can do?
